alignjustifyArturo Valdez, 62 of Temple, passed away September 16, 2008 at his residence. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home with rosary recited at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be 10:00am Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. BRBRArturo Valdez was born September 12, 1946 to Pedro and San Juana Hernandez Valdez in Mexico. He married Cesaria Uribe 22 years ago in Mexico. He moved to Temple in 1995. He worked as a handyman. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple.

alignjustifySurvivors include Cesaria Valdez of Temple, sons; Arturo Valdez, Jr., Marco Antonio Valdez, and Pedro Valdez all of Temple, daughters; Catalina Valdez, Maria de Angeles Valdez, Julia Valdez, and Benita Valdez, all of Temple, brothers; Silvino Valdez Sr. and Jose Valdez, sisters; Irene Valdez and Adela Valdez of Temple, and 7 grandchildren.
