Armando Torres, age 92, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Armando was born on September 15, 1933, in Celaya, Mexico. He was a loving father and cared deeply for his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Armando was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Temple, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Aurelia Galvan Torres, and son, David Torres.

Left to honor and cherish his memory are his children, Armando, Gloria, Ramona, and Alice; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. 

A visitation in Armando's honor will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple, Texas from 6:00PM-8:00PM. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Temple.
