Armando Lopez

Armando Lopez, 55 of Temple, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2008 at a local hospital. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Sunday with rosary recited at 7:00pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be 10:00am Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park.

Armando Lopez was born July 3, 1953 to Ricardo and Guadalupe Ramirez Lopez in Rogers, Texas. He was a graduate of Temple High School. He worked as a general laborer for Santa Fe Railroad, as well as for Cen-Tex Fence for many years. Mr. Lopez was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple. BRBRHe is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers; Elario Larry Lopez, Mike Lopez, and Phillip Lopez.

Survivors include brothers; Dionicio Nicho Lopez and wife May of Odem, Alfonso Poncho Lopez and wife Martha of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Richard Lopez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Johnny Lopez, and Joe Lopez, both of Temple, and sister Dolores Lara and husband Clio of Temple.
