Services for Arlene Novella Widner, 92, of Temple will be 2:00 pm November 13, 2015 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Mike Dailey officiating. Interment will follow at Temple Garden of Memories
Arlene Novella Widner went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 8th at a local care facility.
Arlene was born on October 2, 1923 to Charles Isaac Long and Millie Novella Warren Long in O'Donnell, Texas. She married Joseph Ray Widner on May 18, 1943 in Clarksville, Texas. They were blessed with two sons.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Glenn Long.
Survivors include sons; Michael Charles Widner and wife Trudy Ann, Gerald Wayne Widner; brother, Lynn Dale Long.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm on Thursday, November 12th at the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Taylor's Valley Baptist Church food bank 2497 West Hwy FM 93 Temple, TX 76502.
