Arlene Frances Heller passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2009. She was born August 3, 1938 in Granger, Texas to Joseph and Mary Kurecka. She married Bobby Gene Heller on June 2, 1956 and remained married to him until his death on November 29, 1994. She lived in Holland, Texas.
Her family and friends will dearly miss her steadfast faith, kind heart, quick wit and strength.
Arlene adored her family. She loved gardening, pickling, reading, traveling and the ocean. Arlene is survived by her daughter, Sandra Heller-McDow; son, Ronnie Heller; daughter-in-law, Sandy Heller; daughter, Linda Heller; daughter, Paula Heller Garland; and son-in-law, Joseph Garland; grandchildren, Brandy Beasley; Jennifer McLendon; Nicholas McDow; Chase McDow; Blake Heller; Brandon Heller; and Caleb Garland; great grandchildren, Alexia Beasley; Olivia Beasley; and Abigail Beasley; brothers, John and Larry Kurecka; as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Arlene was proceeded in death by her husband Bobby Heller; brothers Eugene and Eddie; parents Mary and Joseph Kurecka.
Her funeral will be at St. Marys Catholic Church in Temple, where she had been a member almost fifty years. Services will be on Friday, November 13 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.
Pall Bearers are Arlenes nephews Erick Kurecka; Dwayne Kurecka; Billy Wilson; Lance Heller; and family friends Michael Mahler and Andrew Gutierrez.
