Antonia Lopez

Funeral services for Antonia Lopez, 73, of Temple, will be 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Jesus Vega officiating. Burial will follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mrs. Lopez died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at her home in Temple.

Antonia Lopez was born December 31, 1942 in Jayuya, Puerto Rico to Francisca Natal. She was a self-employed seamstress and a member of Iglesia Cristiana Monte-Sinai in Temple. Antonia loved sewing, butterflies, plants, and her dog Sassy.

Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by her husband, Ferdinand; a daughter, Dally Padilla Natal; brother, Ulises Garcia; and sister, Dally Garcia.

She is survived by three sons, Miguel Valladares and wife Elibeth Suares, Ricardo Valladares and wife Maria Rivera, Josue Padilla and wife Milagros Franqui; seven daughters, Maria Justiniano and husband Osmany de la Rosa, Dolly Montes and husband Juan Vargas, Jackira Jusino and husband Edwices de Jesus, Noris Rivera and husband Cecilio Irrizary, Marisol Valladares and husband Melvin Velez, Sherley Valladares, Ester Rodriguez and husband Pablo; a brother, Ramon Garcia and wife Matilde; three sisters, Isabel Garcia, Carmen Garcia, Keline (Kelly) Garcia; thirty-four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home Chapel. Viewing will continue from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15 at the funeral home.
