Antonia “Toni” Aragon, a beloved daughter of Temple, Texas, passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 91. Born to Cleto and Isabel Hernandez, Toni spent her entire life rooted in the Temple community she loved — and that community loved her right back.

Toni was a woman of deep faith, lifelong laughter, and boundless warmth. Whether she was tending her garden, working a crossword puzzle, playing bingo, dancing, or settling in for an episode of Little House on the Prairie, she brought joy to everything she touched. Those who knew her will remember a woman who was always quick with a joke and whose laughter lit up every room she entered. She was a faithful and devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, where she gave of herself week after week, pouring her heart into the parish and its events. She worked at Casey’s Furniture for 44 years, and was known by the community as the walking lady with the long hair.

Above all else, Toni was a family woman. She and her husband Paul “Pablo” Aragon Sr. built a life together that grew into something extraordinary — a legacy of 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves behind her children Lydia, Cynthia, Chris, Paul Jr., and Steve, and her beloved sisters Patsy and Felipa.

She is preceded in death by her husband Paul “Pablo” Aragon Sr.; her son Ralph Aragon Sr.; and her siblings Victoria, Eleno, Rosa, Joaquin, Andrew “Pie”, Florentino, Margarita, Jessie, and Joe. She joins them now in eternal rest, reunited with those who went before her.

In her final days, Toni was surrounded by her children and grandchildren — exactly where she belonged.

She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed enough to know her.
