Anthony "Tony" Csombok, Sr.

Anthony “Tony” Scott Csombok, Sr., age 58 of Carlsbad, New Mexico, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 in Troy, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday, June 25, 2021 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.

Anthony was born on June 15, 1962 to Barbara Marmion and Carl Stephen Csombok in Key West, Florida. He married Brina Muniz Csombok (Torres). Tony earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland in Computer Science and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was known as DJ Samba (TC Sounds and Productions). Tony loved softball and baseball, his favorite team being the New York Yankees. He was a State Champion baseball coach in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Tony was also a member of Sunset Church of Christ in New Mexico.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Barbara Marmion, Carl Csombok and Tom Marmion; and his brother-in-law, Bobby Moore.

He is survived by his wife Brina Muniz Csombok; sister, Monica Moore; brother, Carl Csombok; sister, Kim Townsend and husband, Todd; daughter, Jennifer Csombok; son, Joseph Garza and fiancé, Christina Martinez; son, Anthony Csombok, Jr. and wife, Amanda; and grandchildren, Jenna Csombok, Logan Eaton, Aiden Martinez, Anita Guzman, Isaiah Csombok, Jacob Vega, and Carter Csombok.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Thursday, June 24, 2021 at the funeral home.
