Annie Hazeldahl

Services for Annie Yvonne Hazeldahl, 72, of Holland will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Pastor Rick Reed officiating. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hazeldahl passed away Sunday, June 26, at a local hospital.

Annie Yvonne Hazeldahl was born September 23, 1943 in Killeen, Texas to Eugene Calvin Smith and Ruby Lorine Mosely Smith. She was the matriarch of her family, always looking out for her sisters, brothers, sons, nieces and nephews. Her proudest moment was becoming a mother of her four sons beginning in 1962. She was a hard worker, working two jobs to support her family. She started working for Texas Instruments, while earning her GED in order to advance her career. She retired from Texas Instruments in the early 2000's. Her favorite memories are of holiday gatherings and being with her grandchildren. She leaves behind a life lesson to stay connected with your family and be humble.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Yung; a brother, Charles Eugene Smith; and sisters, Eva Bell Keller and Linda Nell Ellis.

She is survived by three sons, Robert Yung, Jr., Dennis Yung and wife Cindy, Michael Yung and wife Vicki; two brothers, Billy Gene Doughty and wife Donna, Mark Anthony Doughty and wife Julie; three sisters, Debra Ann Lewis and husband Dave, Sherry Lynn Black and husband Brian, and Joyce Marie Starling; five grandchildren, Kyle Yung, Ryan Yung, Zach Yung, Heather Yung, and Kirsten Yung; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Yung.

Visitation will be 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 30, at the funeral home.
