Annie Baird

Annie Lois Oxendine Baird, 78 of Temple, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 in a local hospital. Memorial service will be 1:00pm Monday, June 28th, 2010 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple, Texas.

Annie Lois Oxendine Baird was born June 6, 1932 to Lonnie Hayes and Minerva Elizabeth Howington Oxendine in Pembroke, North Carolina. On June 14, 1958 she was married to Ronald Jackson Baird in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Baird worked as a housewife.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband in 1991.

Survivors include: son, Ronald Jackson Baird, Jr. of College Station, daughters Lydenna Ann Baird Jordan Bruce of Dallas, and Suellen Baird Hester of Temple, brothers and sisters Millard Oxendine, Denford Oxendine, Deola Taylor, and Carol Holley, all of North Carolina, Gene Ware of Houston, and George Oxendine of Georgia, and 2 grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
