Annella Smith, 84, of Temple, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Don Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Ms. Smith was born to Virgil Daniel and Valentine Day Smith in Houston on November 1, 1924. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bookkeeper in the Dietary Department of Scott White Memorial Hospital in Temple for 42 years. She was a member of First Christian Church in Temple.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
