Annamae Ferrara

Annamae C. Ferrara, 95, of Temple, passed away October 24, 2011 at her home. A Graveside Service will be 4:00pm, Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Bellwood Memorial Park, with Dr. Don Lynn officiating. Services are under the direction of HarperTalasek Funeral Home, Temple.

Annamae was born November 20, 1915, in San Gabriel, Texas, the daughter of the late Paul Chervenka and Mary Jarma Chervenka. On November 22, 1944, she married Frank Ferrara, he preceded her in death August 13, 1969. Annamae was a beautician for many years before her retirement in 1968. She also worked for Temple college for 10 years before retiring. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Annamae is preceded in death by her parents husband, Frank sister Eva Thompson and brother, Edwin Chervenka.

She is survived by children, Tommy Ferrara and wife Linda of Allen, TX Sammy Ferrara and wife Shirley of Lufkin, TX Debbie Svajda and husband Wayne of Temple, TX Mike Ferrara and wife Debbie of Round Rock, TX sister, Dorothy Gaines of Temple, TX 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 stepgreat granddaughter.
