Services for Anna Rose Brison, 79, of Temple, will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Wellston Cemetery outside Norman, Oklahoma.

Anna Rose Brison died on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at a local hospital.

Rose Brison was born on October, 8, 1937 to Frances Norene Zink and Donald Harry Crouse in Galesburg, Illinois. She married Charles Wesley Brison. She was self-employed with several jewelry shops from Corsicana, Long View to Sweetwater. She was very organized and used her organizational skills to help her family and friends. She had a passion to serve her town. She was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, helped with cleaning organizations that made a difference to the town. She was an avid reader and encouraged reading. Her hobby was completing the daily crossword puzzle with a cup of coffee.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Wesley Brison; four sons, Robert Wayne Gottselig, Rodney James Gottselig, Charles W. Brison and wife Susan, and John Joseph Brison and wife Shelly; three daughters, Robyn Kathleen Houston and husband Deryl, Kristin Norman and husband Andrew, and Jennifer Brison; two sisters, Donna Lee Ridgeway and Bonnie Lou Crouse; thirteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Association.

Arrangements are in the care of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple.
