Ann Shepperd

Ann Berger Shepperd, 89, was born on January 13, 1921 in Sharp, TX to the late Benjamin Duncan and Elzora Williams. On Sunday, October 31, she passed away at home in Brownsville, TX.
Visitation will be at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple, from 11 a.m. 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple. The family would like to invite everyone to the HarperTalasek family center for a meal and fellowship following the services at Hillcrest cemetery.
Ann graduated from Sharp High School in 1937 and graduated from Kings Daughters Hospital School of Nursing in 1941. Ann worked as a Registered Nurse at Kings Daughters Hospital and The Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple, TX. She worked as the Medical Nursing Services Supervisor and retired after a 37 year career of nursing.
Ann was a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Benevolent, Patriotic Order of Does and the Military Order of the Cootie.
Preceded in death by her late husband of 36 years, Louis M Berger, Jr. and late husband of 6 years Claude Shepperd. Survivors left to cherish her memory are son, Benny Berger and wife Glenda of Brownsville, TX daughters Sue Anderson and husband Chris of Belton, TX and Nancy Huffman of Rockport, TX ten grandchildren, Brenda Berger Hobbs and husband Randy of Bedford, TX Bridget Berger Ledesma and husband Danny of Keller, TX Patsy Hughes and husband Steve of Mansfield, TX Ginny Evans and husband Robert of Mansfield, TX Katie, Jason, Scott and April Anderson of Belton, TX John and Jessica Huffman of Rockport, TX 17 greatgrandchildren 1 greatgreat grandchild and 14 nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross.
