Anita Taylor

Services for Anita Dobson Taylor, 78, of Temple, will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, 2014, at the HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple. Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 18, at Chaplewood Memorial Gardens in Texarkana, Texas.

Mrs. Taylor died Thursday, October 16, at her home in Temple.

Anita was born September 13, 1936, in Texarkana, Texas to Ennis Harold Harland and Lelah Mae Atkison Harland. She married George W. Dobson in 1956 and resided in Texarkana until Georges death in 1977. Anita married Guy Thomas Taylor in 1979. She retired from the Tarrant County Sheriffs Department.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by her son, Geoffrey Dobson and wife Donna Haynes Dobson grandchildren Bryan and Shelly Dobson of Temple, and Erik and Morgan Dobson of The Woodlands and three greatgrandchildren, Miles, Emmie and Riley Dobson. She is also survived by two nephews and their spouses, Mike and Becky Boeker and Bruce and Jan Boeker, and familyinspirit Darrell and Penny Brewer.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 6 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

The family suggests that donations in Anitas name be given to the Childrens Ministry of Fellowship Baptist Church, 2025 Morgans Point Road, Belton, Texas 76513.
