Angelita Paredes Record, 66, of Belton passed away at a local hospital on September 5, 2012.
Services have been set for Friday, September 7, 2012 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple Chapel at 10 am with Christopher Cortez officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Angelita was born on October 1, 1945 to the late Francisco and Juanita Estrada Paredes in Belton. She was a member of the Bridge of Hope Church in Temple.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lee Record in September of 1999 and her parents.
Angelita is survived by her children, three sons Robert Jimenez of Belton, Tx, Ernest Cortez of Temple, Tx, and Christopher Cortez of Dallas, Tx, a daughter, Virginia Guajardo of Belton, Tx, three brothers John Paredes of Killeen, Tx, Jessie Paredes of Temple, Tx, and Paul Paredes of Gatesville, Tx, three sisters Rosie Soto of Amarillo, Tx, Frances Paredes of San Antonio, Tx, and Josie Paredes of Houston, Tx 15 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of dear friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 68 pm at the funeral home.
