Amanda Remoy

Amanda (Miller) Remoy, age 75 of Temple, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with a visitation starting at 10 am and services to follow at 11 am.

Amanda was born on March 24, 1947, to Henry and Virginia Miller in Monroe, Louisiana. She earned an M.A. in English from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. She taught English at Temple High School.

Amanda is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Virginia Miller; and her brother, Clint Miller.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons, Peter Remoy of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Colonel Eric Remoy, US Army, of Stuttgart, Germany.
