Alvin Eugene Hroch, 76 of Temple, passed away July 22, 2010 in Temple. Memorial service will be 10:00am Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Heights Baptist Church in Temple.
Mr. Hroch was born October 16, 1934 to Frankie Hroch and Mable Rosenberg Novotny in Oketo, Kansas. He proudly served our country in the United States Army. On March 21, 1959, he married Sylvia Odean Hicks at Heights Baptist Church in Temple. Mr. Hroch worked as a machinist for ArtcoBell for over 30 years. He attended the Sammons Community Center. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church in Temple.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his wife.
Survivors include: sons Chester Hroch, Sr. of Temple, Dock Hrock and wife Amy of New Braunfels, and Joseph Hroch and wife Gina of Troy, brothers Ernest Hroch of Wymore, Nebraska, and Dale Novotny of Lincoln, Nebraska, sister, Neva Wilkerson of Wymore, Nebraska, 4 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of the arrangements.
