Alma Sanders

Mrs. Alma May Sanders, 77, of Temple, died Friday, July 18, 2008 in a Temple hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating. Private family burial will be in Temple Garden of Memories.

Mrs. Sanders was born to William Albert Reeves and Lily Yuile Reeves in Warrington, England on May 20, 1931. She had been a resident of Temple since 1973, moving here from England. She was formerly employed as a typesetter with the Fort Worth Star Telegram , and had also worked as a waitress.

Survivors include two sons, David Sanders and Richard Sanders, both of Temple; two brothers, George Reeves and Harry Reeves, both of Warrington, England; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindy Ray Sanders on March 16, 1998 and one daughter, Sheryl Bell on October 16, 1996.
