Born on July 2, 1946, in Ozona, Texas, Alicia was the beloved twin sister of Arturo Mancha. She was known for her strength, resilience, and nurturing spirit. Alicia worked as a welder at Griggs Industry.
Alicia had a remarkable green thumb, able to bring life and beauty to any plant or flower she touched. Her garden was a sanctuary of blooms, with hibiscus being her absolute favorite. Her love for nature reflected her vibrant personality and nurturing heart.
Alicia also adored her dogs, treating them like her own children. Golo, Bianca, and Ms. Cheeky lived a life of luxury, showered with treats, toys, and endless affection. Her love for her furry companions was boundless and evident in every aspect of her life.
Alicia was more than a neighbor; she was a true friend and caregiver to those around her. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she made a lasting impact on her community. She was also known for her humor, even during her time in the hospital, where she brought smiles to the faces of nurses and staff with her quick wit and playful jokes.
One small but cherished detail about Alicia was her love for Wrigley’s gum—a simple joy that her family will always remember fondly.
