Alice Pany

Graveside services for Alice F. Pany, 94, of Temple will be 11:00 am Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Hillcrest Cemetery with Father Steve Sauser officiating.

Alice F. Pany passed away Sunday, May 24th at a local nursing care facility.

Alice was born on April 26, 1921 to Adolph J. Koenning and Lilly Stock Koenning in Dryer, Texas. She was employed at St. Mary's School in the Catholic Diocese of Austin and Jefferson Elementary in the Temple ISD as a cafeteria worker. Alice married Edgar J. Pany in 1943 in Yoakum, Texas and started her family in 1947. She has lived in the Temple community since 1983. Alice enjoyed quilting, beading, gardening, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, one sister, and two brothers.

Survivors include; son, David Pany and wife Cheryl; daughter, Diana J. Bennett and husband Bernie; two grandchildren, Bart Pany and wife Jessica, Brett Pany and wife Amy; five great-grandchildren; and one sister Mildred Rebecek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Bluebonnet Hospice Team and Senior Care of Marlandwood East for their outstanding care.
