Alice Brown

Alice Mae King Brown, 89, of Temple passed away January 3, 2013 at a local nursing home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2012 at Temple Garden of Memories at 11 am.
Alice was born in Wharton, County to Tom and Lillian Jueck King on March 11, 1923. She has been a resident of Temple since 1936. She was a nurses aid for 16 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Brown in 1988 2 grandsons Cecil Burkey, Jr. and Darryl Burkey and 2 daughters Billie Burkey and Sybil Jones.
She is survived by her soninlaw Cecil Burkey, Sr. of Temple, 3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 3 greatgreat grandchildren. A visitation will be Monday, January 7, 2013 from 68 at HarperTalasek Funeral Home Temple.
