Alfred Mungia, Jr.

Services for Alfred P. Mungia, Jr, 58, of Temple, will be 9 am Tuesday, June 26, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Temple with Father Francisco Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mr. Mungia passed away Friday, June 22, in Rosebud.

Alfred was born September 22, 1959 in Temple, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Alfred P. Mungia, Sr. He was a Temple resident all of his life.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Mungia; a son, Alfred P. Mungia, III; three daughters, April Mungia Vasquez, Christina H. Mungia and Alexandra Mungia; his parents, Alfred and Amadora Mungia, Sr.; a brother, Thomas Mungia, Sr. and wife Gloria; four sisters, Patsy Donoso and husband Arthur, Mary Alice Espinoza and husband Robert, Linda Hernandez and husband David, Rosie Ortiz and husband Bert; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7 p.m.

Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.
