Services for Albina Lee Wohleb Olsen, 88, of Temple, Texas will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at St Marys Catholic Church in Temple with Reverend Ranjan Cletus officiating.
Entombment will be in the Garden Memorial Mausoleum, St. Monicas Cemetery in Cameron, Texas.
Visitation will be 68 p.m., Friday with rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at HarperTalasek Funeral Home in Temple.
Mrs. Olsen died February 17, 2010.
Albina was born to Albina Mondirk Wohleb and Clem A. Wohleb of Cameron, Texas in 1921. She was raised in Cameron. She attended St. Anthonys Catholic School, Elm Ridge School and graduated from Yoe High School. She moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 1942 and was employed by Civil Service, St. Louis Ordnance Depot. She married Irving H. Olsen in 1944 where they resided until 1970. They both retired from Civil Service, The U.S. Army Aviation Command in 1970, and moved to Temple, Texas. She was active in St. Marys Catholic Church. She was an active member of the Altar Society for over 25 years. She was an active member of the Prayer Group from 1975 to 1989. She was was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister amongst other activities.
Albina is preceded in death by her husband, Irving Olsen brothers, Clem A. Wohleb, Seraphine J. Wohleb, Roy E. Wohleb, and Ernest F. Wohleb sisters, Theresa Wohleb Robinson and Augusta Wohleb Alford.
Memorials may be sent to St. Marys Catholic School in lieu of flowers.
