brAlan Lee Franklin, 43, of Temple passed away Friday in a local hospital. brMr. Franklin was born February 10, 1966 in Landsthul, West Germany. He is survived by his wife, Fawn Franklin of Temple; his parents, Robert and Ursula Thompson of Temple; children, Crystal Denard and fiance Kenneth Kristinek, Justin Franklin and Heike Franklin all of Temple; brothers, Robert Franklin and wife, Tammy of Hutto and James Franklin and wife, Angie of Temple; 3 grandchildren, Austin, Hailie and Josiah Denard.brHe was a loving father and a friend to all.brVisitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.br A memorial service will be 5:00 p.m., Thursday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Reverend Phillip Shuler officiating.brHarper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple is in charge of arrangements.br
