Alice Schaefer, age 87 of Temple, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at home. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Alice was born October 18, 1934, to Burr Ashabranner and Laura Fay Green in Waco, Texas. She married Charles Herman (Chuck) Schaefer and the couple had three children, Laura Ruth Jaillite, Mary Alice Schaefer, and Charles Herman (Chip) Schaefer. She was a graduate of Mary Hardin-Baylor University and taught elementary school in Belton until her retirement.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
