Terri Knezeak

Terri Lynn Knezeak, age 63 of Temple, passed from this life Thursday, November 3, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Monday, November 21, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park and Cemetery in Temple.

Terri was born on August 15, 1959, to Robert and Lorraine Tyler in Alameda, California. She graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, California in June 1977. Terri started working at Mervyn’s Headquarters in Hayward, California at 18 years old. She also worked for 12 years at 24 Hour Fitness as an Executive Administrative Assistant for the C.E.O. Terri married Walt Knezeak on November 6, 1993, at All Saints Church in Hayward, California. Terri enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the movies or out for dinner. She liked to go shopping with her daughter and play Scrabble (beating her husband almost every time). She loved Hawaii, chihuahuas, and going to Disneyland. Terri had fun hiking and feeding the deer close to her home and going to the casino with her husband with only $20 in her pocket. She made anything an adventure! Terri will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Terri is preceded in death by her father, Robert Tyler.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Walt C. Knezeak of Temple, Texas; sons, Kody Knezeak of Reno, Nevada, and Kyle Queen of Sacramento, California; daughter, Kristen Kepner of Belton, Texas; and 2 grandchildren.
